This work is composed of three canvases of 50X50 cm. For each of the works; the painter based the chromatic composition on the contrast between blue and black.
It is a temporal sequence; based on the alternation of day and night.
The black lines drawn with paint marker also evoke the day / night rhythm.
There is a visual game around the similarities and differences.
The chromatic proximity of the shades of blue evokes and pays homage to the American painter Ad Reinhard; whom Piccinelli counts as one of the great artists who influences and inspires him.
