I am formally interested in the possibility of openness and the suggestion of what lies beyond the frame.

For me, what the work suggests is as important as what it shows (the style, the aesthetics).

I recalled my impressions when, as a young boy, I was confronted with the immensity of a field bounded by the horizon and the sky. It is this visual poetry that is expressed in this work.

The place where I live and work is surrounded by fields cultivated with care and precision by Swiss farmers. When I walk in the surrounding countryside, it is as if I are passing through painted works, a sublime impression of space and silence.
