For Patrick Piccinelli; spending a summer in Mexico City is like diving into a kaleidoscope of sensations and flavors. It is a sensory journey where the overwhelming heat embraces the city; enveloping every street corner in a warm and intimate embrace.
The painter used a palette which; for him; evokes the atmosphere of this city. He juxtaposed orange and pink tones enhanced by a neon pink trace.
The acrylic colors used are of superior quality. These are the ultra pigmented series from the Swiss brand Lascaux (Lascaux Artist) and the Amsterdam Expert series.
The black drawing is made with an acrylic marker. The "Arles" canvas is of high quality and the stretcher has a cross which prevents deformation of the frame. The canvas is mounted by hand by the painter's assistant; it is prepared with 2 layers of gesso and a layer of acrylic titanium white. Frame thickness: 3 cm (standard thickness 2 cm)
