This work is a tribute to my Italian origins. The colors of this composition evoke Palermo and the sublime shades of the frescoes of its historic palaces. But also the crumbling walls of working-class neighborhoods. The reds of Sicily are a blend of nature; tradition and passion: the earth; the sky; and the products that tell the story of an island full of character and history; a deep red; full of symbols.
