For my artistic work; I spent a lot of time in Paris with my wife; we particularly liked the summer days. This work on paper evokes both the softness of the city on sunny days and its creative and inspiring energy. The chromatic composition suggests the colors of the French flag.My first stays in the French capital date back to the years when I was a student at ECAL (University of Art and Design Lausanne; Switzerland). I remember seeing a small mural by Sol Lewitt in a contemporary art gallery; it's an image etched in my visual memory.
