In this work; I sought to explore the depth of abstraction and expressionism through the bold use of blue pigments and minimalist geometric shapes. The interplay of acrylic; ink; and pigments creates a dialogue between freedom and structure. This painting embodies the tranquility of a peaceful lake; while inviting introspective reflection. Metaphorically; the blue water of this night represents for me the immensity of the unfathomable emotions that we experience deep within our souls. Blue is often associated with melancholy; but also with peace and depth. It evokes oceans of emotions; sometimes calm; sometimes agitated; reflecting the inner tumult of the one who contemplates this vast interior space under the veil of night.
