This work on Arches paper is made with “artist” quality acrylic paint and “artist” Indian ink.

This composition evokes the colors and atmosphere of Mexico.

Mexico City; with its vast expanses and winding neighborhoods; can be seen as a metaphorical labyrinth; symbolizing life's surprises and choices.

The incessant noise and crowds symbolize the distractions and external influences that lead us away from our inner path. The quest to find one's way through this chaotic city then becomes a metaphor for the search for meaning and direction in life.

To get lost in this city is to be immersed in an ocean of cultures; where every corner is a new wave of colors; flavors and sounds.

For me Mexico is a metaphor for the human soul; complex; rich and constantly evolving.
