The title of this work on paper comes from a poem "Fragiles Clartés" by the Swiss poet François Deblüe. His text speaks of the ephemeral beauty of nature and the fragility of life. The "white morning" evokes an image of purity and freshness; perhaps even of snow or frost. This contrasts with the warmer and more colorful image one might associate with spring.By combining these two images; the poem evokes a moment of fragile beauty; as if the purity and freshness of winter were about to dissipate.Piccinelli likes this idea which may seem contradictory; associating white morning and spring. His painting also expresses an apparent visual contradiction: associating calm and chaos; order and disorder; stability and instability.Technically; this work is carried out on the one hand with a very fine marker (archive pigment ink) and on the other hand with a very wide brush brush.
