This work is framed but without glass. This composition evokes the night which is ending; the hope of a new day. The red of the rising sun is like an explosion of joy on the edge of dawn.
The title refers to a song by Damon Albarn.
Between melancholy and wonder; the singer contemplates nature in “Royal Morning Blue”. It is on his piano; facing the spectacular landscapes of Iceland with which he fell in love and of which he is a new citizen; that the artist finds inspiration. Thus; the title describes his state of mind when faced with the beauty of nature.
“The Nearer the Foutain; More Pure the Stream Flows”; Damon Albarn; 2021.
