The title of this work is inspired by a haiku by Yosa Buson. The mountain; hitherto hidden; is revealed in all its grandeur. It never moved; never wavered. It was always there; constant; solid; waiting for the veil of illusions to be lifted. This mountain is truth; unchanging reality; the inner strength that lies within each of us. When it appears; it imposes a silent respect; an awareness that despite tumults and storms; there is always a stable; unshakeable truth; waiting behind the ephemeral veils of uncertainty. The fleeing clouds represent the doubts; fears and illusions that often obscure our vision. The mountain that appears is the revelation of truth; the realization of an inner strength that has always been present; but which the veils of uncertainty prevented us from seeing clearly. It's a moment of discovery; of understanding; when reality finally reveals itself; unchanging and powerful; after the illusions have dissipated.
