This work on Arches paper evokes the city of Sao Paulo and its light.
In the early morning; it slips gently between the skyscrapers; caressing the red tile roofs of the old houses. The streets of São Paulo; still asleep; awaken under this light; bathed in a warmth that promises a day full of contrasts.
The light of São Paulo never quite disappears. It persists; in the neon lights of the signs; in the headlights of the cars. It is a light that refuses to go out; that continues to dance with the darkness; like a promise of renewal; a heartbeat that never weakens. For me; the light of São Paulo is both creative and a gentle reflection of this immense city; full of contradictions and life. It is a light that; just like São Paulo; can never really be grasped; only experienced!
