The work entitled "Free Jazz" reflects an aesthetic and energy inspired by this innovative musical movement. Free jazz; which emerged in the 1950s and 1960s; is characterized by its rejection of traditional jazz music structures; offering greater freedom of improvisation and an exploration of dissonant sounds and complex rhythms.
The division into three sections (blue; white; red) recalls a juxtaposition of tones and emotions; evoking the idea of dialogues or movements in a free jazz performance.Blue suggests an introspective or melodic atmosphere.
The central white; marked by graphic lines and inverted inscriptions; gives an impression of disorientation or reinterpretation; like the sound experiments.
The red evokes intensity and raw energy; amplified by the black splashes.
The work captures the essence of free jazz by blending chaos and harmony; freedom and structure.
