There is a similar work, but I created it on paper (50 x 65 cm).

To understand the connections between this painting, “Take It To The Limit 2,” inspired by the music of Etta James, one must engage in a sensitive, almost synesthetic reading: seeing the music and hearing the painting. My painting doesn't seek classical harmony, but rather a coexistence of tensions—just like Etta's interpretation of her song "Take It To The Limit."

In both the song and the painting, there is a central idea: holding, pushing, resisting. Etta James stretches the voice to the point of breaking; as a painter, I stretch the composition to the point of imbalance.

As with Etta James, it's not about formal perfection, but about achieving a raw emotional truth.
