This artwork features a unique, one-of-a-kind monotype print on Japanese paper.

In creating this piece, I explored, both visually and conceptually, the notion of interval and tension between different states of calm or emptiness.

The title, "Between Two Silences," indicates my interest in what occurs in the intermediate space—not silence itself, but what exists between two moments of silence. This notion is echoed in the composition: the white space separating the two forms becomes a site of creative tension.

The left side, with its regular lines against a black background, evokes a structured, almost meditative silence, while the right side, more gestural and splashy, suggests an energy that emerges or dissipates. The contrast between these two approaches—one geometric and controlled, the other spontaneous and expressive—materializes this idea of a passage, a transition between different states of tranquility.
