This work is a tribute to my Italian roots. The colors of this composition evoke Palermo and the sublime nuances of the frescoes in its historic palaces, but also the crumbling walls of its working-class neighborhoods.

The reds of Sicily are a blend of nature, tradition, and passion: the earth, the sky, and the products that tell the story of an island full of character and history—a deep red, laden with symbolism.
