I pay homage to the expressive, elegant, and subtle power of Japanese art with this minimalist painting.

This composition evokes for me an enclosed garden, a peaceful place, teeming with life and fragrance. It is a place that invites contemplation of grace and appreciation of life. A timeless space.

The sublime graphic minimalism of the Japanese garden, uniting the mineral and the vegetal, inspires me. I seek to express an aesthetic emotion in creating this composition. I would like to convey a visual impact with as few elements as possible and by utilizing empty spaces.
